In my role as an Exhibitor Services Specialist I work in tandem with internal teams and external to contractors to ensure exhibitors are receiving comprehensive on-site support.  Moreover, I work on the processing and auditing of various exhibitor charges through internal programs, ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial protocols.

CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS INTERN

While serving as the Washington Commanders Corporate Communications Intern I aided in the messaging of various corporate initiatives. This included press box notes for Washington home games, press releases and media alerts, as well as summary documents for game day activations. Furthermore, I was given the opportunity to oversee and helped facilitate media at various events. I also worked with other departments to assist in the facilitation of game day activations and events including Alumni Homecoming Weekend, the Annual Toy Drive, and more.

ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

During my time at Argyle, I worked alongside top professionals in the field of crisis communications to open operations of a United States office from the largest public relations firm in Canada. I was granted the opportunity to be involved in business development, client facing work and marketing for the office. Some notable work products include the development of a strategic communications plan and creative blog content for clients.

NextGen America-Pennsylvania
September 2020 - November 2020

CAMPAIGN FELLOW

NextGen America is an organization working to mobilize young (18-35) and progressive voters. As a campaign fellow, my main objective was to speak to 100 voters per week via phone calling. In addition to this responsibility, I developed Instagram accounts that were targeted towards students attending certain colleges. To achieve this, I designed posts and mapped out the process of building a following in order to achieve the largest impact and broaden our platform.

SOLUTION ENGINEER INTERN

During this six-week internship, I was provided the opportunity to work in a team environment and discover how Oracle utilizes collaboration to create the optimal solutions for its clients. At the end of this internship program, I was granted the opportunity to produce a mock client presentation that was conducted in front of high-level executives.

CONGRESSIONAL INTERN

As an intern, I was tasked with speaking to constituents and directing them to the appropriate government agency to assist with their grievance. Additionally, I was entrusted with researching and developing an understanding of certain political issues and preparing summary memoranda for staffers. As part of this experience, I was given the opportunity to attend lectures and presentations that highlighted the cooperation between the Senator's office and other federal governmental agencies.

VICE PRESIDENT OF PROGRAMMING

My position as Vice President of Programming charged me with the responsibility of educating the Sigma Kappa chapter members on issues pertaining to the Greek community. I executed this task by organizing experts on different topics to address the members. Additionally, I created and presented a lesson to members of the sorority, as well as a fraternity on campus, to educate approximately 150 people on hazing prevention.

Campaign to Elect Mikie Sherrill to Congress
May 2018 - November 2018

FIELD INTERN

As an intern on the campaign, I was responsible for speaking with voters through door-to-door canvassing and phone calls. I was also tasked with developing a paid canvasser program for the campaign. Together with another intern, I worked to recruit, interview, hire and manage the individual canvassers. Furthermore, I was entrusted to train and lead groups of volunteers to make sure that they were prepared to speak with voters and clearly communicate the messages of the campaign.
